1. Is the hostel in the city centre?

Yes, the hostel is situated right in the city centre, adjacent to the main Bus station (Busaras) and 2 minutes from Connolly and Tara Street train stations. O’Connell Street and Temple Bar are a 5 minute walk and one of the main shopping streets Henry Street is also a short walk away.

2. Is breakfast included in the price?

A Light Continental breakfast is included in the price which includes Brown or white toast ,butter, jams , juice , tea and coffee and cereals and is served between 7:30- 9.30 am daily. Alternatively, guests can avail of our self-catering kitchen which is open daily to make your own breakfast .

3. Are linen and Towels included?

Bed linen is included and Beds are made up ready for your arrival . We have towels available for hire at €2 or guests may wish to bring their own towels.

4. What safekeeping facilities are provided?

Small safes (large enough for cameras, documents, wallets etc) are provided at reception area and a small daily charge of €2 is made for their hire( with a €10 refundable deposit for key ) . We recommend that all guests avail of this facility as the hostel cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or stolen. In private rooms( 1- 4 people )there are in room safes at no charge

5. Are left-luggage facilities provided?

Yes, there are large lockers provided in a secure luggage room. A small daily charge of €2 is required for their hire( with €10 refundable deposit ) Really handy if you arrive before check in time and want to store the luggage and explore Dublin without the weight , or if you have a late onward flight and want to make the most if your time in Dublin without dragging luggage around

6. What are the check in and check out times?

Guest can check in at any time after 15.00h and they must check out before 11.00h.

7. Does the hostel have a curfew?

No, there is no curfew at any of our hostels. Reception is open 24 hour a day.

8. Are multi-bed rooms single sex only?

No, we have male, female and mixed sex rooms in our hostels.

9. Are any bedrooms ensuite?

All rooms are ensuite with toilet and shower. And there are some extra communal bathroms on the landings

10. What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept cash, credit cards (Mastercard and Visa) only. When making a reservation either a deposit or credit card number is required to guarantee the reservation.

11. What is your cancellation policy?

For individual reservations the cancellation policy is 24 hours booked direct with us ( though if booking through third party agent this may be longer ). For groups, we require the first nights accommodation prepaid as deposit. This is non-refundable. Any group cancellations must be made in writing 4weeks before the arrival date of the group.

12. Do I have to be a member?

There is no membership fee involved. We are independent hostels and members of the Independent Holiday Hostels of Ireland Association. To stay at our hostels all you need is some form of photo identification and enough money to pay for your bed for the night.

13. Can Groups avail of special promotional rates?

Please note that € 10.00 beds are special promotional rates and are only available on certain nights in our hostels and are also just limited to beds in different types of rooms and at limited supply per day. The special rate is also only applicable for on line sales. These reduced rate beds do not extend to group bookings as the special offer beds are only available in different beds in different rooms types – so for a group looking to book – they would not be together – they would be separated throughout the hostel. If you want to take a chance on line and try for cheaper prices for some beds you may have to split your booking into different rooms. We advise groups to contact us directly in order to get the best option available to them.

14. Do you have age restriction?

Groups with under 16s must be accompanied by adults.
Families travelling with children under age of 16 must book private accommodation.

15. Is WIFI / internet available in the Hostel ?

Yes Wifi is available in reception and common rooms free of charge. It is not available in the Bedrooms.

16. Is a car park available in the hostel?

We do not have our own car park but our guests have special rates at Q park -a 7 minute walk from the hostel , or there is some limited on street Pay and Display Car Parking

17 .Is the water drinkable?

The water from Kitchen tap is drinkable and filtered water is freely available behind the bar in the breakfast room if you wish to top up your water Bottles here.

18. Do you have Plug adapters available?

Yes just ask at reception and leave your ID as deposit.

19. What laundry facilities are available?

There are washing machines and tumble dryers available ( a charge for use) and irons in the laundry room . Detergents are available at reception.
